Well, flowers at least! Stop at the Discovery Shop during the West Seattle Summer Fest for your pick of some unusual and beautiful plants. Details below.

• July 1,2,3 red, white, blue clothing will be 50% off.
• WE WILL BE CLOSED JULY 4TH.
• During the West Seattle Art Walk July 12, Thursday, we are open until 8:30PM.
• WEST SEATTLE SUMMER FEST runs Friday, July 13, through Sunday, July 15, with 50% off store wide (excluding plants) at the Discovery Shop. Featured will be a special event of 150+ indoor and outdoor plants donated by our volunteers, a local nursery and other donors. Hours are 10AM to 8PM Friday and Saturday and 11AM to 5PM Sunday. Lots of activities for the kids at the Alaska Junction festival.
• During the next two weeks -- all blue tags are 50% off; men's wear 50% off Sundays; double stamps on customer appreciation cards from 10AM-noon Mondays; seniors 20% off Tuesdays; students 20% off Saturdays with ID.

HAPPENINGS June 18 - July 2

Only six months until Christmas! Visit the West Seattle Discovery Shop now to shop for those on your Christmas list, or whatever the occasion. Many one-of-a-kind items to suit anyone's taste.

• The last two weeks of June and July we will be having "Manager's Specials" and each day different items will be featured. We don't even know yet what those might be so you'll need to come and check this out for yourself.
• We will be CLOSED JULY 4. Visit us July 1-3 to pick out a red, white or blue clothing item for 50% off.
• On Sunday's men's wear continues at 50% off; Tuesdays are Senior days with 20% off; Mondays between 10AM and noon you get double stamps on your Customer Appreciation Card; Saturdays students showing school ID receive a 20% discount.

Did you know that by shopping and donating at the Discovery Shop you are helping to create a world with more birthdays? All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society, thanks to a wonderful staff of volunteers.

HAPPENINGS June 4 - 17

• Flowers, lighter colors and clothing are in the forecast. Also sunshine, hopefully! The West Seattle Discovery Shop at 4535 California Ave SW is celebrating June with some events too good to pass up. We're open Sundays from 11AM-3PM and all other days 10AM-4:30PM.

• Friday, June 1, started our Picture and Frame Event. Our special volunteer, Jeff, is in charge of this area and has been working diligently for weeks to prepare items for the sales floor to suit every taste. You're sure to find something you need!

• Pink tagged items are 50% off through June 19.

• On Flag Day, Thursday, June 14, we are open until 8:30PM - joining other Alaska Junction merchants for the West Seattle Art Walk. All day when you come in to shop you can "pick a flag" for a surprise percentage off your purchase. Fun for everyone.

• Bring Dad in Saturday, June 16, and find him a special gift at the Father's Day Tool Event. We will be displaying tools, tools and more tools to delight everyone. You will find antique, collectible and contemporary tools where something is sure to please him.

• Sunday men's wear is 50% off. -Monday you get double stamps on your Customer Appreciation Card from 10AM to Noon. -Tuesday is 20% off for Seniors. -Saturday students receive 20% off by showing their student ID card.
