 DID YOU KNOW:     The American Cancer Society (ACS) runs public health advertising campaigns and organizes projects such as the Relay For Life and the Great American Smokeout . The ACS participates in the Hopkins 4 for Cancer, a 4,000-mile bike ride from Baltimore to San Francisco to raise money for the society's Hope Lodge. A series of "upscale retail" shops operates to raise money to help create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Happenings through June 11 at the West Seattle Discovery Shop:

§  Yellow tags are currently $1 through the end of the month. On June 1 Pink tags become 50% off.
 
THE DISCOVERY SHOP IS CLOSED MEMORIAL DAY - MONDAY MAY 29
 
§  The Full Moon Special this month is Friday June 9. Any one item of your choice is 40% off.

§  Watch the board behind the counter for "Manager's Specials" that may show up at any time.

Weekly Specials  - Save on regular priced items if you fit the category shown:
ü  Monday - Active Military and Veterans receive 20% off. ID required.
ü  Tuesday - Seniors age 55+ receive 20% off.
ü  Saturday - 20% off for HS students with school ID.
ü  Sunday - 40% off all men's wear.
ü  On your actual birthday receive 20% off.
